Evening

Day 2

The South course has played host to the prestigious Ryder Cup in 2006, and the Irish Open in 2016, 2023, and 2025, and offers a truly unforgettable golfing experience. Day 3

Morning

Start your day by heading towards County Kerry, taking either the Limerick route passing through the charming Adare Village, founded in the 13th century and often hailed as Ireland’s prettiest village. Alternatively, take the scenic Cork route and stop at the iconic Rock of Cashel, followed by a cozy pub lunch at Mikey Ryan’s Bar in Cashel, where you can experience authentic local hospitality.

Arrive at The Five Star Europe Hotel & Resort, beautifully situated on the shores of Lough Léin, Killarney’s largest lake overlooking Ireland’s highest mountain range. Surrounded by 25,000 acres of the breathtaking UNESCO Killarney National Park, take time to explore the hotel and its lush gardens. Enjoy a complimentary horse ride on Austrian Haflinger Ponies through the scenic landscapes, or simply relax with a glass of champagne on your private balcony, taking in the awe-inspiring views.

Evening

Savor a delightful dinner at The Brasserie, where timeless favorites are crafted with locally sourced ingredients and served alongside breathtaking views of the lakes and mountains. Day 4

Morning

Begin your day with a delicious breakfast at The Panorama Restaurant, where you’ll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the lake, mountains and beyond. Afterward, from the hotel’s private pier, take a leisurely boat ride to Innisfallen Island, where you can explore the ruins of a monastery and university dating back to the 6th century–or, if you prefer, try your hand at fishing, casting a line for brown trout or salmon in the serene waters of the Lakes of Killarney.

Embark on the breathtaking drive around the iconic Ring of Kerry, taking in stunning beaches and scenic landscapes, or consider a short day trip to Dingle, just an hour away, where you can explore the beautiful Slea Head. One of our favorite excursions is the Gap of Dunloe, which offers the option of a charming jaunting car ride or a scenic hike through a 7-mile glacial valley. The excursion finishes with a magical boat ride back to the 15th-century Ross Castle.

Evening

Enjoy a Mediterranean dining experience at Riva at The Europe, the resort’s hidden gem nestled on the ground floor of the hotel’s holistic Active Level at ESPA. Riva showcases the best of local produce, inspired by the simplicity of Italian cuisine the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. Afterward, head into Killarney Town for drinks in one of the lively Irish pubs, where the atmosphere is always welcoming.

Day 5

Enjoy a charming lunch at Vaughan’s Anchor Inn, where you absolutely must try their delicious fish and chips. Another favorite is Homestead Cottage, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Doolin, perfect for both lunch and dinner. Afterward, explore the Burren Perfumery, a lovely spot to discover the unique scents of the region, or perhaps visit the charming Caherconnell Sheep Farm for a true taste of Irish countryside life.

Evening

Arrive up the avenue to Dromoland Castle, where the grandeur of the castle stands proudly ahead, with a serene lake in front, creating a truly magical arrival. This evening, enjoy something light for dinner either in The Gallery - the heart and soul of the castle, or perhaps at The Fig Tree Brasserie in the country club, where you can savor local fare surrounded by the beauty of the walled garden.

Day 6

Morning

Wake up in your castle and enjoy a delicious breakfast in the Earl of Thomond Restaurant, where history surrounds you, setting the perfect tone for your day. Afterward, consider taking a day trip to Galway, where you can embark on a walking food tour, or perhaps enjoy a boat ride or even a helicopter trip to the stunning Aran Islands. If you prefer a more relaxing experience, cruise along the River Shannon— the options for exploration are endless.

Head back to the vast 500-acre estate and indulge in a range of activities, from the unforgettable experience of falconry to archery, golf, pickleball, boating, fishing, yoga, and luxurious spa treatments. Evening

Delight in a candlelit dinner at the stunning Earl of Thomond Restaurant, where a harpist serenades you, and the exquisite service and cuisine create an unforgettable experience. Morning

After a lovely breakfast, it will be time to say goodbye. If you're flying from Shannon Airport, you’re just a quick 10-minute drive from the castle—so no rush! And don’t forget, both Shannon (SNN) and Dublin (DUB) Airports offer U.S. Pre-Clearance. If you’re heading to Dublin Airport, it’s a smooth 2.5-hour drive from the castle, or just 40 minutes if you’re coming from The K Club. Safe travels, and we can’t wait to welcome you back soon!
